Dr Dominika Dziwisz was the guest speaker at an online seminar of Jan Karski Program for Young Georgian Leaders organised by the Foreign Policy Council in Tbilisi on the 6th of October, 2021. She presented the topic Politics between war and peace. (Deep) fake news operation scenario which outlined possible scenarios of the disinformation campaign under way in Poland since June 2021. The Project is financially supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to Tbilisi / NATO Contact Point Embassy.

Katedra Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego UJ zaprasza na wykład nt. „W poszukiwaniu synergii. Professor Artur Gruszczak, Chair of National Security, took part on the 21st of April in a webinar at the Catholic University in Leuven (Belgium) devoted to the protection of the external borders of the European Union and the role of the Frontex agency. Upon invitation from students of International Relations, Professor Gruszczak presented the legal and organizational framework of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency – Frontex, as well as its tasks and operational activities. A brief presentation was followed by a Q & A session. Professor Gruszczak answered questions concerning the relations between Frontex and the authorities of the Member States. He also commented on the recent accusations of violation of international law during Frontex’s joint operations in the Mediterranean Sea region.
