We gladly inform that a chapter titled ‘‘Secret surveillance in Poland after Snowden”, written by Dr. Mateusz Kolaszyński, Assistant Professor at the Department of National Security, was included in a collected volume Trust and Transparency in an Age of Surveillance, edited by L. A. Viola and Paweł Laidler. This volume is published open access by Routledge (part of the Taylor & Francis Group).

The 3rd JAGIELLONIAN INTERDISCIPLINARY SECURITY CONFERENCE

The 3rd Jagiellonian Interdisciplinary Security Conference is a continuation of a series of conferences aiming to stimulate an interdisciplinary debate on contemporary aspects of the complex security environment. The 2nd Jagiellonian Interdisciplinary Security Conference held in 2018 discussed dominant patterns of behaviour and performance in the turbulent global security system. The 1st Jagiellonian Interdisciplinary Security Conference, organised in 2015 in collaboration with the International Studies Association (ISA) as the Jagiellonian University Security Conference – Interdisciplinary Approaches to Security in the Changing World, brought together 150 researchers and practitioners representing over 100 institutions from 26 countries around the world.
